Whenever I try to straighten my hair, it only gets puffy, frizzy, and sticks out like an umbrella. I've tried using straightening serums and silicone but they don't work. Any suggestions?How do you straighten corckscrew curly hair without it getting frizzy?
Use a good flat iron, and straighten it slowly, at one pace. Gently brush your hair after you've straightened it, and put hairspray on a few squares of folded toilet paper, then run it over your hair to hold it down. Make sure when you begin to straighten it, that all of your hair is dry. Hope this helps!How do you straighten corckscrew curly hair without it getting frizzy?
well, i haved extremely curly hair, that frizzes a lot. it depends on the weather, but this is what i do. I take my hair straightener, and straighten sections for about 15 minutes. Then, i use Garnier Fructis(im not so sure about spelling) sleek and shine. It helps stop frizz without making your hair feel weighed down. I also suggest before you start that process to thoroughly brush(not comb) your hair out. It does make it frizzy, but thats what the gel is for. Hope this helps!
your better using around ceramic bristle brush and a hair dryer with a directional nozzle, and keeping the nozzle pointed down on a 45 degree angle to the hair, this will help close the shaft of the hair and stop it frizzing.
If ts still not as straight as you want it, use a reallygood quality straightner like GHD and make sure you use a heat protect spray.
Finish with a very little coat of serum or shine spray.
Good luck :)
ok here's what to do:
1. put some BIOSILK and some straigtening balm in your WET hair (its an oil that will help your frizzies)
2. Section your hair into small sections and blow dry each seperate section with a brush then straight with a good straightener. Do each section one by one.
3. Once everything is straightened just go through it and straigten some pieces that need it. After it is all done spray some shing spray or anything like it in your hair and let it dry. Put some more biosilk inyour hair and straigten quick again.
Keep your hair moisturized. its frizzie because its dry.;
a really god flat iron. Chi is awesome. or try getting a japanese perm (chemical straightening)
