Would the curls be more bouncy and long or not? What would happen if a black girl with curly hair got a curly perm?
first perms and relaxers are NOT the same chemical. They may have very similar, but they are different in their chemical make up.If you use a bigger rod then the curls you already have yes your curls will be looser and be long. But depending on your hair texture and the kind of perm you use your hair may not take because of the ph in the weaving solution(the perm may not be strong enough to change your hair)What would happen if a black girl with curly hair got a curly perm?
your hair will become straight because you cant curl a curl
the curls would be more bouncer
she would look better
A BIGGGG DISASTER,please could you send me a picture when you done.
Im not exactly sure. The curls might get tighter, rather then getting looser/long. Still, im not positive.
nothing my friend has one and it looks really good! except she straightened it after 2 years and now she cant get rid of the curl so if you really want it for a loooonnnnng time, it does look good. i hope this helps.
You know, I've always wondered this question. With black hair having a natural curl pattern, it's hard to say whether or not the curly perm would enhance and define the curls, or creat a big mess. Not trying to be funny, but when I see it on white girls, it tends to just be a big ole frizzy mess.
I have recently seen advertisment for a child's perm, meant for multiracial children, which says that it's a step down from a relaxer - it's supposed to soften curly textures and make them managable curls. Never seen it on a person yet.
It depends on how ';tight'; the curl of your hair currently is, and the size of the rods they use during the perm.
Perms and relaxers are actually the same chemical, the way they work is by breaking chemical bonds in the hair, and then the ';neutralizer'; remakes the bonds, holding the hair in what ever shape it has been bound into, curlers or large flat areas.
If you got a perm with rods that are larger in diameter than your current hair texture it would make it ';looser'; and the ahir would look longer.
First of all why would she want some more curls is she already has them but I will come to believe that her hair will be more curlier then it was in the first place and be out of control.
curls make your hair look much much shorter. but if your hair is curly already, why do you want a perm?
for the volume? i think it'd look really cute. try it.
Does it really matter!
All it would do is reshape the curl pattern you have now to the rod size of the perm rod. If your hair is not very curly now and you want it curlier then thats what will happen.
