Straight, half-up formal hair style.?

I have a winter formal coming up and a curly updo won't go with my dress. I want to leave it straight and put it half up, but still have a little something fancy with it so it is not too boring. Long blonde hair.Straight, half-up formal hair style.?
ok, take 2 front strands of hair and pull them 2 the back and put them in a pony by them self! there will be some hair hanging out of the pony! only curl that part!
