I need a good formal hair style...?

my cotillion is on saturday. im getting my hair done like professionally, and i need an idea of what i want. i really regret cutting my hair but its still kind of long. (its about 4 inches below my shoulders.) i want it kind of up but not too-too much. all suggestions are welcome. :)I need a good formal hair style...?

some cute idea for medium length updo i think are

loosely curl the whole thing and then pinned up in a messy updo maybe even with some peices hanging(my favorite with tiara)

also a classic smooth low bun

a french twist is always classic and modern you dont need the whole poof on top you can have a very modern sexy twist

and in my opinion i think a sexy blow dry can top them all i think it also depends on the outfit but hope i helped a little

ps if this day is extremely import i would go for a trial run just to make sure they dont suck?!
Everyone who has straight hair wants it curly, but then the curls are so perfect they look fake, so if you choose to curl it make sure they arent so perfect.

if you do have curly hair already have them pull it up into a loose bun using only bobby pins... maybe a poof on top if youd like
