How to take good care of naturally curly hair?

I have always had curly hair %26amp; it is natural, but the only other person in my family that has it is my dad, and brother. All the females have straight hair. I have found that if I do not brush it after a shower it looks better. But if I do that too much tangles form over time and its not pretty! Any tips? How to take good care of naturally curly hair?
Don't brush while your hair is wet, and definitely not with a brush. When you do brush it, you should use a wide-toothed comb or afro comb. Also, it helps to wrap your hair in towelling after washing to prevent the curls from frizzing too much before you style it.

Invest in a really good conditioner, and apply hot oil packs sometimes.

well yes, atleast you know, not to brush it after a shower, but if you brush it while the conditioner is in your hair in a shower, that will detangle it, but still give you a good look when dry.

rumours say that this can rip your hair out, but those with naturally curly hair will usually have thick hair, which i'm sure you do too, which shouldn't be a problem in the least.

mousse's work best for my hair, and serums when i want my hair to stay in place and with the minimum frizz possible.

:)

i have that to, mine used to be frizzy till i started to brush it gently before i had a shower wash my hair then put my fingers through it instead of brushing it now my hair doesnt frizz most the time i dont have to wear hairspray, gel or moose :) try it ! x
