How to get curly hair to stay when you have long straight hair?

My hair is really long and it doesn't hold a curl very long. I use a lot of hairspray.Any tips? How to get curly hair to stay when you have long straight hair?
Look at using something like Tresemme Curl Activator before you curl. http://www.tresemme.com.au/how-it-works. And what kind of hairspray are you using? Sometimes it's the quality/hold of the hairspray, and not how much you use. I'd use something like Redken Workforce or Bedhead Masterpiece.

Also make sure you hold the curler in for a decent amount of time before you release. I know it's hard when you're getting impatient and just want it done. :PHow to get curly hair to stay when you have long straight hair?
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.

Try this tutorial out so you can see what I''m talking about:

Its for curling ur hair with the flat iron.
You should spray your hair before you curl it. But you have to be kinda fast. %26amp; then curl itt. Then spray it again. It should stay. I have the same problem. [:
