SO I have very straight, thick, just past the shoulder length hair. It is very wavy when I get out of the shower before I brush it and one of my friends said something about combing while your in the shower, then applying a lot of gel and using some sort of difuser? That works on a blow dryer...someone please help me out!!! I want my wavy hair! How do I make my hair curly out of the shower?
ok kinda sounds like my hair but mines insanely curly..anyway this should work for anyone..the combing in the shower thing works a lot..use ur conditioner and leave it in for a little bit..then ur gonna rinse it out in cool water because that seals in shine. when u get out of the shower towel dry your hair and then brush it again. after that comb through it with ur fingers...take some mousse ( i like herbal essences in the purple bottle) and rub it in your hands and scrunch your hair. with straight hair it should stay wavy all day. top it off with some hair spray and ur good to go! :) hope i helpedHow do I make my hair curly out of the shower?
What you need to do is get some gel or mouse that is specifically for wavy hair or even some curl enhancing product and use it when you get out of the shower. A diffuser isn't going to do you much good because a diffuser is for people with curly hair to keep their hair from frizzing when they dry it. Also and this works for my hair it may not for yours but if your hair is long enough you can try putting it in kind of a loose bun until it's almost dry then take it down and shake it out. Just make sure you try all of these things when you have a bit of time to mess around with it and not right before a date in case they don't work out. Good luck
Try not to comb it, as you will be combing out the natural wave. Use a light conditioner to ease out the knots, and add a curl-defining spray or mousse then dry with a diffuser if you have one. To use a diffuser, tip your head upside down and place it in the 'bowl' of the diffuser and dry on a medium heat until about 80% dry. Tip your head back up, separate the curls with your fingers and add a glossing spray.
This should enhance the natural waves you have got, but if your hair is not naturally very curly the best you will get is waves, rather than ringlets.

these are videos to help you know what to do with your hair. good luck
Scrunch it and let it air dry or braid it, leave it in for a couple of hours or over night, VOILA!. twist it into 2 buns.
After, just use a bit of hairspray to hold or some mousse. Hair gel is ok, but makes your hair dry and gets flaky after a while.
