How can I get my hair to stay curly for a long time?

I use a curling iron and hairspray but it doesn't stay curled at all. It falls into a slight flip in an hour and it's driving me nuts. All that time spending to curl it...any tips to make it stay in longer? How can I get my hair to stay curly for a long time?
Hair gel helps before you curl. But really, only a perm would last a long time. And if you are willing to curl it after perming, you can make the perm look natural.How can I get my hair to stay curly for a long time?
I use Keune Mousse Styling Forte. It works for me :) good luck swty
