What are good hairstyles for people with very curly hair?

My hair is naturally very curly and if i try to comb it when it is dry it turns into a giant afro! I have to wear pigtail braids every day :-(What are good hairstyles for people with very curly hair?
whatever you do dont cut your hair short. Try not to comb your hair dry. You should be using a soft bristle brush and brush it after you wash it. It is best to have long layers. My hair is naturally curly as well. I normally either wear it up in a pony tail curly, down curly, in a bun, braided in a normal braid not pigtail braids which makes the hair curl even more, blow it only maybe once a month, use hair drops, a anti-frizz smoothing gel, and try some groom clean for men it is amazing on curly hair (I did). Dont color your hair alot either it makes it dry and bristly.What are good hairstyles for people with very curly hair?

Try Aveda Hang Straight hair thingy, it works for me, only, use a hair dryer instead of letting it dry on its own, and then straighten it! : ) i hope i helped! : )
Try using hair gel and making your hair
Cheaply: Get a short cut that emphasizes the curl without making it look like an afro. Graduated or layered cut with some bulk taken out tends to do the trick





Expensively: Ouidad. Look it up, I am sure you can find a salon that does it.
