What are good styles for people with curly hair?

I need a new haircut so bad. My hair isn't very curly, its more wavy and its VERY thick. Its pretty long, about 4-5 inches past my sholder. I definitly don't want scene hair, but i want something different and easy. I'd like to keep it long too. So, any ideas? What are good styles for people with curly hair?

hope i helped!
I've got curly hair, ocassionally straighten it to get a different look... but i love my hair curly!! I get my hair done in ten min. in the morning! it is also wavy. i get out of the shower do my make up, take it out of the towel, flip my head up side down scrunch with ';La Bella Gel'; (very good! doens't make your hair hard!) blow dry it while scrunching, and flip it back up when i'm done, then i part it to the side and on the side with more hair I part that at an angle like... |/ (|-part on side) and on either side of the new part (/) i make twisties and bobby pin them! I get a lot of compliments! then spray with aussie stay spray!
Why don't you try to make your hair straight, then get side bangs but don't cut your hair.

get side bangs. it's very pretty! and don't cut it!!! keep it long! 10 in below shoulders is pretty for curly hair and side bangs
JUST PUT HALF OF YOUR HAIR IN A BUN AND THE REST OUT
my best answer would be short, i used to have long hair and I'm glad i cut it
Try to straighten it out with gel
