your hair may not hold a curl without a perm, your best option would be to wash your hair at night and roll it in curlers and sleep on it.. in the morning take them out, dont brush it too much, put some mousse in it, scrunch the curl and use hair spray.. cant promise it will stay, some people just cant hold a curl due to hair type... mine is the same way, i can have ringlet curls and 2 hours later it looks like i didnt do anything to it..
