How do I keep my hair curly for longer?

My hair is naturally curly but it just looks frizzy so I usually blowdry my hair and then curl it with tongs. But the curls don't last long at all even when I use hairspray. After about an hour or so the curls just straighten out and look wavy. How do I keep my hair curly for longer?
Well, you really shouldn't blow-dry and use the curling iron. it's bad for your hair. if you do though, first use a cream in your hair to protect it from the blow dryer (this will also tame frizz, try frizz-ease). then when you are done blow-drying spray it with redken heat protecting spray, it is meant for the flat iron but it works the same. next, curl as usual. when your finished spray it with aussie auusome volume hairspray. make sure you get ur entire head but hold it far enough away from the scalp so you don't mess up the curls.

another way for curling hair. my hair is frizzy so I scrunch mine. I take my hair when its wet and put got2be kinky mousse in it. then i bunch it up in my hands and push sections of my hair up towards my scalp. repeat. then i put L.A looks curl gel in and scrunch again. when i'm done i spray my hair with auusome volume spray and voila! How do I keep my hair curly for longer?
take a shower and put gel in ur hair and then put ur hair up and then keep it up for a 1 hr or so and then just keep puting ur hair up and then put more gel in then u know wat to do
maybe if you really wish to have curly hair then i suggest to go get a perm so it will stay curly all the time...

my hair is naturally curly too, but then it just goes a bit wavy, and my mom said to just get a perm so it will stay curly, and it did.

i hope this helps...i think you should just go to a hair salon, and ask them what you should do...they really would know.

good luck[=
a super curly perm but dont live it in a very long time so that you dont wind up looiking like annie or something that way if you decide to straighten in as soon as you wash it the curls have a natural look
For naturally curly hair, use garnier fructis style soft curl cream 1st (make sure you put enough in) That will shape your curls then use the same brand hard curl. That will make them stay. You can put hairspray in if you want but that's not necessary. If you blow dry it, use a an attachment so it doesn't get frizzy otherwise just let it air dry! This will work if you have thick or thin hair!
One word. GEL! sleek some gel in your hair and then curl it. Once you done that spray some hair spray. I think it will work so much better. Buy some friz control too.
