How can you calm down poofy and curly hair?

My hair isnt poofy when wet. But when it dries it like expands and gets really wavy and a bit curly how do i make my hair not expand and get wavy?How can you calm down poofy and curly hair?

mix any type of lotion with a serum..trust me it works..im mixed and i had this problem as well...serum usually comes in tiny little bottles..so i mix lotion with it...and work it through my hair..its hard to find a product that works great for your hair..so i realized its best if you make your own...the lotion is like gel...but healthier for your hair..and it wont make your hair crusty and hard...very flowy..but without the frizz...trust me..haha

I have really thick/long wavy hair ... I control it with Garnier products. I use the shampoos, condioners, play-style, and the shine work great! While your hair is still damp, leave it in a braid for awhile ... that helps too!
