What products should I use on my curly but course hair?

I am half spanish and half black. When I wet my hair it becomes very very curly but as I let it dry, it gets very poofy and doesn't stay curly and nice. What kind of products should I use on my hair? And what kinds of daily treatments should I use on my hair? ie. conditioners, oils, shamppoos, etc. Thank you all who answer my question.What products should I use on my curly but course hair?
I am the same mix. I love it, I use TIGI Catwalk ';curls rock'; I use their shampoo and only condition once a week. I thought that I needed to wash and condition my type of hair everyday but When I went to a really good salon I found out that that was part of my problem.

I use the leave-in moisturizer daily and top it off with their ';curl amplifier';

It took me years to find the right product for my hair but now I can go through a whole day without my hair getting big and crazy looking. Now I am 31 and get complements all the time on my skin (color and clarity) and on my pretty hair.What products should I use on my curly but course hair?

I know exactly where you are coming from..my daugther is of the same mix and I use Pantene Pro Vee Women of Color Shampoo and conditoner it keeps her hair moisturized. With that you may want to invest in curling mousse any brand (we use shoft sheen carson) once you shampoo your hair and condition put that on and let it dry as usual%26gt;%26gt;this should help I would also recommend investing in pink mosturizer and a brand of hair dressing the ghetto word is grease!!!
