What is the best way to make a two year old girls hair curly without hurting her head?

Her hair is very straight, and has a tender head. I want to curl it but don't want to hurt her. What is the best way to make a two year old girls hair curly without hurting her head?
They have these foam curlers that work with damp hair, you can get them at any retail store like wal-mark, k-mart, Target etc. You just put them in before bed and tie a scarf around them on her head, make sure you have a camera ready cause it looks so cute, in the morning she will have curly hair! What is the best way to make a two year old girls hair curly without hurting her head?
You might want to wait until she is a little bit older at least to curl her hair. (i'm assuming you mean to perm it?)

I have naturally curly hair and I have since I was little. Believe me tender heads and curly hair and 2 year old are NOT a good combination. There will be lots of ratsnests and snarls and bedheads. She might be very grateful to you for just keeping her hair straight for now... Unless you're prepared to deal with a lot of crying and screaming.
twist it and place rubber bands on the ends...let it sit...take it down and voila...depending on the hair
french braid her hair before she goes to bed.
Do u want it curled of purmed, if u just want it curled for a day, put it in foam curlers the night before, and let her play with your hair first to let her know it is ok and won't hurt.
it depends on how long her hair is. But you could put soft rollers in her hair the night before with wet or dry hair. Or you could try a tiny barrel curling iron but keep the curls towards the bottom.
there's this thing called texture softener and it curls the hair,it doesnt have harsh chemicals in it but i dont know if it works on every hair texture. You can go on texturesoftener.com

they have a video on what type of hair to use it on.

Good luck
But she's so lovely the way she is! Just cut it pretty and live with it.
make two little buns on each side of her head like the the girl from star wars?

twist each side until it turns into a bun and about three hours later take it out and it should be curly or you can always french braid her hair
Old fashioned rag rolling - take small sections, twist and roll on cloth strips and then knot.
my mom used to braid my hair before i went to bed and it came out very wavy (not exactly like curling iron curls, more like scrunched looking waves/curls without mousse and gel) in the morning %26amp;%26amp; my hair is super straight too. you can french braid it if you know how and it wont hurt her. or you can do regular braids. if you want her hair to be super wavy it would be best if you gave her several braids instead of just one.

hope this helps (:
Sponge rollers

wash her hair then set in sponge rollers and let it dry
ok right after she takes a bath, put little tight braids in it. when she wakes up the next morning take it out and it looks pretty cute
well then, just leave it be. I'm sure it's pretty the way it is.
Hey there. You can take her to a salon and they will either curl it with a curling iron or depending on the texture of her hair, they will put it on rollers. You can put it on rollers yourself if you know how.Neither one of these will hurt her.Good luck.
