How do you create waves with REALLY CURLY but STRAIGHTENED hair?

My hair is really thick and coarse but once I straighten it you would never know it's really that way. Is it possible to create big, gorgeous waves with straightened hair? How do you create waves with REALLY CURLY but STRAIGHTENED hair?
Yes, what you have to do is finger curl it. Basically, get a lock of hair and wrap your finger around the bit at the bottom and work your way up and hold it and the roots for like a minute and let go.How do you create waves with REALLY CURLY but STRAIGHTENED hair?
I was asking the same question to my friends the other day. I have hair just like yours. I did a little search on youtube and I learned how to curl hair with a flat iron. If you want to make it look wavy, just watch a video explaining how to curl hair with a straightener. Then when your done, you'll get large curls. Just run you fingers through you hair and it will get loose enough to look wavy.
i also have big curly hair.. althought with the straightening iron not curling this is all you have to do(the video is not of me)i just use it

jsut make sure you use some frizz removing serum. if you have thick hari
